Some journeys begin out of necessity, driven by the desire for a better life or the hope of a possible future. Drawing on Samia: Little Dreamer (2024), Dead Man (1995), and El Viaje (1992), musician Rodrigo D'Erasmo and filmmaker Daniele Vicari join Isabella Ragonese in reflecting on the journey as an act of resistance and hope, exploring the role that cinema and music can play in giving a face and a voice to the stories of those who continue to set out in search of a better future.
