ScHoolboy Q Announces New Album ‘Thank Que’ Releasing Next Year 

ScHoolboy Q has done more musically than he’s received praise for as far as rappers go, but that doesn’t stop the artist from delivering on core fan expectations every time. You can just tell he loves the craft and is here to stay for a long time.

Currently, ScHoolboy Q is in the middle of his 10-city tour celebrating the legacy of his Blank Face LP album and reconfirmed what fans have known for a few months now; there’s an album coming. The project has previously been teased on the artist’s Instagram page, however, things have been uncertain in terms of the release timeline.

What can be said for sure, as confirmed by ScHoolboy Q himself, is the fact that the album will come out in 2027. Apparently, the project is a 12-track project. Check out the announcement below!

EZ Mil Releases New Song ‘Madara’ Feat. Eminem: Listen 

EZ Mil had heads turning when he was first signed by Eminem, and now, the two have teamed up on their latest release ‘Madara.’ Mixing Japanese rap inspired flows with English lyricism, the duo have absolutely demolished the track.

For those that don’t know, the song title is a reference to Madara Uchiha, a legendary-villain shinobi character from the critically acclaimed anime, Naruto.

In it, Madara is pretty much the ultimate villain, strongest and fastest, which is an attribute that also reflects Eminem’s mastery over multisyllabic chopper flows.

You can expect to hear Eminem in his braggadocio bag and catch glimpses of the old Slim Shady courtesy of the vocal texture the rapper has achieved on the song.

Some fans believe it has been accomplished via the use of AI training on Eminem’s younger voice, although it is just speculation at this point. EZ Mil has also held his own rapping alongside the veteran with surprising ease. Check out the song below!

Rick Ross Arrested in Miami on Domestic Violence Charges 

Rick Ross has legal trouble. The rapper was arrested by Miami Beach police early Thursday on domestic violence charges, including felony battery by strangulation, according to Miami-Dade jail and court records.

Ross, whose legal name is William Leonard Roberts, was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 6:10 a.m. this Thursday, multiple outlets report.

The 50-year-old rapper faces one felony count of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanor count of battery. Earlier this week, his girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick had accused the rapper of hitting her, showing her injuries on camera on social media. Both charges are listed as involving domestic violence.

Bond was listed at $5,000 on the battery by strangulation charge and $1,000 on the battery charge, making it a total of $6,000. An arraignment is scheduled for October 22, 2026, while authorities have yet to release the full arrest affidavit.

His lawyers have released a statement:

“William Roberts II, professionally known as Rick Ross, is being wrongfully accused by an ex-girlfriend whose true motivations are unclear. The ex did not even file a police report until a month after the claimed incident allegedly took place. Mr. Roberts is innocent and has pled not guilty to the charges. He respectfully requests that his friends, fans and the general public not prejudge the situation and allow the judicial process to run its course.”

Jadakiss & Hasan Minhaj Have More Than A Block Party Brewing 

It’s always refreshing and gratifying to see rappers go beyond hip hop and start businesses of their own, serving as the extension of their passions. One such rapper has been Jadakiss, who is really passionate about his coffee and the proud owner of Kiss Cafe. Now, the rapper has something brewing beyond coffee; a one of a kind cultural confluence in collaboration with the comedian Hasan Minhaj.

Jadakiss started Kiss Cafe with his father Bob Phillips and son Jaewon Phillips about four years back, celebrating family values and love for caffeine. In tandem there was Hasan Minhaj, who invested and grew Kolkata Chai Co. (Co-founded by two Bengali brothers, Ayan and Ani Sanyal), which was a pivotal moment itself in terms of South Asian influence growing across the globe with the promotion of India/ Pakistan’s rootedness in chai (or tea, certainly never ‘chai tea’ as its often misrepresented). The two cultural connoisseurs have now come together with an exciting collaboration: the very special Kiss Cafe x Kolkata Chai “Instant Classic” bundle available on Kolkata Chai Co’s official website.

It is an exciting bundle that consists of Kiss Cafe’s medium-dark arabica blend, Kolkata Chai’s smooth signature chai concentrate, and a barista-style handled frother. Each item is enjoyable on its own, but what could be better than a Dirty Chai recipe which is included with it!

To celebrate this rare cultural inter-mingling, the brands also organized a block party together at Kolkata’s 60 Kenmare St storefront where fans could try out exciting drinks inspired by the collaboration. Speaking on the collaboration, Hasan Minhaj recounted his early impressions of Jadakiss, saying, “My earliest memory of Jadakiss is, funny enough, The Lox’s ‘Money, Power, Respect’ video. That was my introduction to The Lox, Jadakiss, DMX. A month ago, Roddy Ricch jumped on LilGoatD3’s ‘Girls’ and today, the song gets a massive look as in the early hours of a random Tuesday morning, Tyler, the Creator has decided to drop a remix of it on YouTube.

This follows up his recent pair of appearances on AZ Chike’s No Rest For The Wicked which you can stream here. He hasn’t just added a quick verse to it either, but he really makes the song his own just like he did with Kendrick Lamar’s ‘hey now‘ a couple of years back. We’d expect nothing less.

Drake Announces Streaming Release Of New Songs From ‘FOMO’: Watch 

Rapper Drake had heads turning again with his FOMO stream and the announcement of a new album, after already dishing out 3 albums back to back in the Iceman era. Now, there’s a release date in sight for FOMO.

During the live stream of the FOMO film, a bunch of songs were previewed. Nobody knew when they’d be out. Luckily for fans, Drake just made a statement in a new Kick stream where he spoke about a lot of these songs (not all) ready for release. They should be out on Thursday.

“Go watch FOMO. There’s a bunch of songs coming on streaming on Thursday. So all the songs you guys have been asking for… well not all of them, but enough of them are coming Thursday,” he clarified. So, how hyped are you?

Jay-Z Accuser’s Ex-Lawyers Claim She Was Paid To Recant Allegations 

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who was the lawyer for the anonymous woman that filed a rape case against Jay-Z, has finally responded to the latest developments in the fiasco. For the uninitiated, Jane Doe accused Jay-Z of rape and later recanted and went back on her story saying she never met the rapper.

Now, Tony Buzbee, who was countersued by Jay-Z in the aftermath of their filing of the case has claimed that the woman was paid to go back on her word. According to Buzbee, the reversal is both “irrelevant and inflammatory” as well as “bought-and-paid-for.”

“Carter and his attorneys are now advancing testimony that they either know is probably false and perjurious, or, at best, know is offered by a witness (Jane Doe) that they have spent two years calling inherently unreliable, and who has repeatedly offered sworn testimony that is directly contrary to the testimony they secured by dismissing her,” Buzbee’s attorneys claim.

While Jane Doe claimed she wasn’t paid during her sworn testimony, she was dropped from Jay-Z’s countersuit, which means Jay is only suing Buzbee and his associates in retaliation. What do you think really happened?
